friend funding = frunding

I’m currently home-computer-less. I have the options of financing a new desktop through a credit card company, or by offering my services to my friends and followers. I don’t like credit card companies. I like you. And some of you seem to like what I can do with a computer.
Here’s how it works:
Email me something I could do for you for a specific amount of money. If I decide to do said thing, and do it, you pay me through Google Checkout or Paypal. Easy, right? Try thinking of something around $100 so it will be worthwhile enough for you and a real chunk of effort from me.
As a follow up to my last post, I wanted to make it easier for my friends and followers to figure out just how I could help them.
A Random List of Things I Can Do for You:
I’ve gotten pretty handy with WordPress, need an update? need the design tweaked? need a plug-in installed and implemented?
How about commissioning a new meme painting?
I blog. I could guest blog for you or something else blog related.
I make killer mix-cds. Have a store and need the perfect soundtrack? I can be your musical Cyrano de Bergerac for a special someone.
I can help you move.
I’m handy with a guitar, but I’m not above helping you load/unload.
Have a significant errand that you need to get done?
Getting your wisdom teeth out? I make an awesome nurse.
My day job is thinking about the future of the internet and human beings for Fortune 500 brands, but I’m up for thinking about something smaller and personal for you.
I’ve been running and working at start-ups since I was 14 – I could offer some advice for yours.
Have a lawn in the NY area that needs mowing?
Need your apartment cleaned?
That’s just the tip of the ice-berg of the things I’ll do for you. This is an experiment. Maybe it will work, maybe it won’t – but I’d much rather try to do more for you than for Chase.
Someone’s already offered to straight up donate money to the cause – which is, of course, welcome as well.
