  1. Surely I’m not the target audience for Old Spice, so my opinion doesn’t really matter, but I find this obnoxious and annoying to the point that I would purposefully steer clear of buying Old Spice now.

    It’s so powerful that it invades other commercials? WTF does that even mean? Why, after having the suave and mellow dude, do they go with this mad man?

    It feels desperate and reaching.

  2. Let me add that I think P&G, who owns Old Spice, is very smart when they do things like “Tide with Downy” and “Tide with Febreze Sport.” Cross branding/utilization is good. Crushing one brand with another brand in an ad, that doesn’t work for me.
