Scott Lamb over at Buzzfeed compiled his Favorite Buzz of 2009 – and look who made the cut – my own painting of Keyboard Cat. I’m honored.

He also ended up nestled between Ze Frank and Pavement – which is probably the fantasy of every beautiful tech/indie-rock lady out there… in my head. So… I’ve got that going for me, too.

And how about a “IN YOUR FACE” to that Nerd Venn Diagram and to David Bowie with a Kitten. Yeah. I’m gloating. And no, it isn’t particularly attractive. You should see the dance I’m doing right now. Disgusting.

Good news: today’s the last day you’ll see me update you on my eBay auction for the keyboard cat painting

Bad news: today’s the last day to place your bid on this rare and majestic piece of pop-art (hey, did you know 10% of the winning bid goes directly to the Humane Society?)

Auction ends today a few minutes shy of 4pm PST.

If you’re still my friend, I could really use some help spreading the word before the auction ends. If you do tweet, blog, shout, coerce, threaten, etc. others about the auction, please let me know, because I want to show you my appreciation. (suggestive eye movement)

An update to a previous post: Keyboard Cat, Acrylic on Canvas is now up for auction at eBay.

10% of the final price will be donated to the Humane Society of the US.

In the four days since the first photos were uploaded, the photo of the painting has been viewed over 20k times, the post on Buzzfeed over 3800 times, and my own post has received almost 1k views.

A special thanks to everyone that helped spread the photos. If you dig the idea, please help me spread the link to the eBay auction.

Any guesses on what it will go for?
